Part of our complete guide: All 45 Nice Classification Classes Explained

Logistics providers, courier companies, and delivery services fall under Class 39, which covers transport of goods and people, along with packaging, storage, and travel arrangement services.

What Class 39 covers here

This includes last-mile delivery, freight and cargo transport, warehousing and storage services, and courier and parcel services, whether the business operates its own fleet or coordinates delivery through partners. Travel agencies and vehicle rental services also sit in this class.

Where logistics brands often need a second class

A logistics company that builds and licenses its own tracking or fleet-management software, as a product sold to other businesses, would need Class 9 (software) or Class 42 (software-as-a-service) for that technology layer, separate from Class 39 covering the physical delivery service itself. If the brand also runs an e-commerce marketplace rather than just fulfilling deliveries for others, Class 35 may apply too.
